A look back at 2016

2016 was a fantastic year for PixelHaze with a number of key developments in the company. Although we are excited to move into the New Year, we wanted to share some of our highlights with you in case you missed them.

Squarespace Updates

Squarespace are one of the best organisations in the industry for developing exciting and resourceful features without the trade-off of releasing annoying bugs. Here are some of the main features that we can now take for granted in our designs.

Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) support on all Squarespace blogs means faster loading for your posts on mobile devices when visitors view your content.

The Squarespace collaboration with Google combined beautiful mobile-friendly website design and an array of intuitive content management tools with the very best professional email cloud service. All of this is now available at a very reasonable price.

2016 also heralded the arrival of Squarespace Circle, an online portal for professional designers who specialise on the Squarespace platform. As a signed-up member of Squarespace Circle, we have a platform allowing us to share and relay even more great tips, allowing our customers to get the very best from the Squarespace platform.

Canva Workshops

After a series of trial workshops, we welcomed the award winning Canva (online graphic design software) to our PixelHaze toolbox in the summer of 2016. This software is ideal for micro businesses, allowing us to work with clients to deliver professional business materials and graphics with minimal fuss and at a very competitive price. Canva is ideal for creating business cards, letterheads & compliment slips, leaflets & flyers and even Facebook adverts. In fact there would be ample time to create all of the above in a one-day training workshop, allowing you to edit and create your own designs in the future.

Google Virtual Tours

PixelHaze joined up with Google in the summer of 2016 to provide a crucial virtual tour programme. We are delighted to announce that as a Google Street View Trusted Partner, we can deliver the whole process from start to finish, including the setup of your business process on Google Maps.
