Colleen Morris, a BAFTA award winner, has made a name for herself in the historical design sector in film and media with 25 years of experience in costume and fashion design.

She made her feature film debut with Bolden!, where her expertise in historical costume and imaginative flair came together to bring the story of New Orleans' Storyville in the early 20th century to life with a vibrant and unique look, complemented by composer Wynton Marsalis' music.

THE PROJECT

Colleen Morris engaged PixelHaze for a website revamp. Her previous website was self-made and managed on Wix, but with increased career demands, Colleen needed a professional, up-to-date platform that accurately represented her brand.

The redesign aimed to showcase both past and current projects and have a professional appearance, with an emphasis on project photography as the main highlight.

OUR SOLUTION

Colleen's website redesign relied heavily on photography and a black-and-white color scheme to showcase her work. The photography is given prominence to effectively communicate her brand, rather than relying on extensive text. The prominent display of project covers mimics a billboard-style presentation, drawing attention to Colleen's work. The website also features press interviews and a direct contact option for directors and producers to view her work and reach out for potential projects.
